He made his debut for the rugby league giants in 2004, playing 323 times and scoring 80 tries. Carl also played six games for England, and was called up to the 2013 World Cup and 2010 Four Nations. He was a key component of one of the Rhinos’ most successful ever periods of time as a club, earning multiple trophies, Super League rings and accolades along the way. Throughout his illustrious career, Carl has been studying plumbing and heating. When injury curtailed his career in 2019, Carl picked up his NVQ qualification and is now a very efficient, hard-working and friendly plumber for households across Leeds.
